Exciting times are ahead with the new pitch and what it will bring to the club but we must not forget what has happened on the grass pitch over the years.In that time Cup and League fixtures have brought the likes of Northampton, Exeter, London Welsh, London Irish, Worcester to name but a few.

Countless players of the past, present and future have memories of training and playing on the pitch. Rather than see it all go to landfill we want to give everyone the opportunity to take a piece of the club history away with them and raise much-needed funds for the club development which will benefit all sections of our club.

You can have your choice of a square metre of turf on the pitch, a particular memory, tackle, scrum or try - whichever takes your fancy! Your photo will be taken and will be put into a collage to adorn a board on the side of the new pitch. All you need to do is donate £5 and turn up with a shovel on Sunday between 9am and 2pm to take your turf. You don't have to take a whole metre square or even any of it if you don't want it!

Gary Taylor will be at the club this weekend to take your donation, you can book your squares and he will take your photo ready for the board.
