Walall had a tough game against last years champions Longton on Saturday.The first exchanges went to Walsall with Scott Mannison going over under the posts for an excellent try,converted by Kev Pitt.Longton took control of the middle quarters of the game with Walsall only response a try from Kev Pitt.After some defensive errors Walsall finished the game in command scoring two tries without rep;y by Richard Coleman and Phil Stanley.Unfortunatly time ran out and Walsall could not score the remaining points to secure victory.
